Overview: The E-Learning Development Manager is part of the Global Talent Management team and is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated e-Learning solutions to support Ralph Lauren’s global business in a wide spectrum of collateral for technical and systems, professional development, product, brand and functional content training.
Responsibilities
- Leverage instructional design and multi-media skills to conceptualize, design, develop and deliver training modules and courses
- Apply adult learning theory to the creation of e-Learning and blended learning solutions
- Develop online courses using educational technologies and leading development tools
- Work with L&D, Business partners and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure quality and accuracy of designs and content
- Leverage Learning Management System and learning technology infrastructure to deliver e-Learning to employees
- Serve as a member of the Learning and Development team to review program evaluations, test results, and participant and manager feedback on training effectiveness to make recommendations for program improvement
Education: Bachelor’s degree in learning/education or equivalent instructional technology certificate
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience building and implementing e-Learning programs and curriculum
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with standard e-Learning development tools: Articulate, Captivate, Dreamweaver, FLASH; Photoshop, some knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
- Experience with Plateau/Success Factors or similar Learning Management System
- Experience with mobile application development a plus
- Proven ability to manage and execute to a developed training plan
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects of varying sizes and degrees of complexity simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfort in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- Autonomous contributor who is both a self-starter and can work independently with minimal supervision
