Job Description
Ruckus seeks a proactive Senior Learning professional with extensive experience creating value-driven learning products, services, and systems. Expert in rapid e-Learning and ILT design, development, management, delivery, and support. Must also be highly skilled in competency analysis, gathering and analyzing business/functional requirements, facilitating cross-functional teams, and managing multiple projects and plans. Strong understanding of adult learning theory, needs analysis, learning effectiveness, instructional design methodologies, and group facilitation. A professional services leader with strong business, operations, performance, and productivity focus. A systems thinker able to communicate with both technical and business audiences. This role will function as Curriculum Lead with responsibilities for, with Director of Training, overseeing Vision and rapid design, development, and delivery of curricula delivered to Ruckus Wireless and its partner ecosystem. Will be comprised of Technical, Sales, and Other courses, delivered in Online, ILT, and Blended modalities. Will be the senior E-Learning/ILT architect and designer for the Ruckus Education team with responsibility for leading other instructional designers as to design processes from ideation, subject matter expert engagement, design, development, delivery and continuous improvement of learning opportunities. Ability to create original artwork, architecture, designs, animations, navigation schemes, controls, and programming for self-study e-Learning products required. Experienced in Managing and developing web sites, intranet database applications, content migrations, and third party integration projects required. Able to function as an internal consultant to Director of Training, others.
Desired Skills & Experience
Required technical skills include some combination of the below:
- E-Learning: Flex / AS3, Captivate, Articulate Suite, WebEx, Premiere, others,
- LMS / LCMS: CertPoint LMS, SharePoint. CertPoint experience helpful. Must be able to configure, maintain, and support global corporate Learning Management System,
- Web: PHP, Zend, MySQL, JavaScript / AJAX, XML, UNIX, Python, Perl, others.
Must be passionate, driven, responsible, flexible, and able. Must have the ability to travel internationally as much as 25% of the time.
