The University of Piraeus is housed the Central Building at 80 Karoli and Demetriou Street, where the administrative offices and the large classrooms (auditoriums) are located.

The University’s Directorate of Studies has given to the Department of Digital Systems, almost exclusively, two classrooms in the Main Building: the KT-103 classroom, with a capacity of 250 people, where all the courses of the 1st and 2nd year of studies are held, and the KT-002 classroom, on the ground floor next to the cafeteria with a capacity of 200 people, where the core courses of the 3rd year of studies and some compulsory courses of the 3rd and 4th year of studies are held. For the elective courses of the 3rd and 4th year of study, the University’s Directorate of Studies has assigned classrooms in the Main Building and in the building of Gregorios Lambrakis and Distomo, which is about 800 meters from the Main Building of the University. Also, some elective courses are held in classroom/lab B102 in the Neoclassical Building at 78 Tsamadou Street and Deligiorgis Street.

The Department’s laboratories are housed in the privately owned building of the University of Piraeus, located at 150 Androutsou Street, where three (3) computer laboratories with a total capacity of ninety-three (93) workstations operate: the “Ground Floor” laboratory with 36 computers, the “Mezzanine” laboratory with 32 computers, and the “107” laboratory with 25 computers. There is also 1 laboratory in the Neoclassical Building, classroom B102, with 15 computers. All computers have Internet access and the rooms are equipped with projectors, projection screens and whiteboards. The students will find also specialized telecommunication equipment for experiments and measurements in the laboratory in the mezzanine.

The premises of laboratories are open from 08:00 till 21:00 on weekdays. The teaching schedule is announced and posted at the entrance of each classroom-lab during the first week of classes each semester. The laboratories’ equipment is also available to students of the Department even when there are no classes.
